Checked every 60 seconds: online or down, how fast it answers, and when its security certificate expires. If it goes down, we're alerted.

Backups

A backup every 24 hours, with the last 7 kept, so a bad day can be undone.

Support

Basic hosting support: something's wrong with your site being online, or you need a change to how it's hosted — contact us.

How hosting works

From request to live, step by step.

  1. Request

    Tell us about your site: domain, where it's hosted now, and what it's built with.

  2. Compatibility review

    We check your site will work on our hosting and tell you honestly if it won't.

  3. Approval & payment setup

    You approve the monthly price. Billing is monthly.

  4. Move & test

    We copy your site over, set up HTTPS and test everything before anything changes for your visitors.

  5. Live & monitored

    We point your domain to JOB OPS. From then on it's monitored and backed up.

What we host right now

Static websites today.

We currently host static websites: sites made of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and other files, with no server-side code. Many small business, portfolio and event sites are like this.

If your site runs on WordPress, PHP or another system that needs a database, ask anyway. We'll tell you plainly whether we can take it yet.

Your website stays yours

You can leave any time.

  • You keep ownership of your website and its content.
  • If you cancel, your site stays up until the end of the period you paid for.
  • You get an export of your website files (and database, where there is one) to take to another host.
  • After that, your data is kept for a set time and then deleted, as the hosting agreement explains.

Honest about our setup. JOB OPS is a small local company. We monitor every site around the clock and tell you if something goes wrong, but we don't promise a specific uptime percentage.
